Boston public broadcaster WGBH is integrating its creative teams across all of its programs via Avid Everywhere, the company announced today.
The new WGBH workflow aims to maximize the value of the broadcaster’s content on various platforms and improve its productivity. The centerpiece of the new workflow is the Avid MediaCentral platform.
WGBH is one of the largest producers of programs for PBS nationally, creating content for TV, Web and mobile. It also produces local content.
The Avid Everywhere approach will make it easier for the broadcaster to leverage its content by providing a common storage environment, shared metadata and a tightly integrated workflow with the MediaCentral platform.
