Harris Broadcast’s MediaDay will take place in New York City on March 17th “court-side” at Madison Square Garden.
The past 12-18 months has been a transitional and transformational period for Harris Broadcast. “As we look ahead to 2014 and beyond, MediaDay will unveil our vision, strategy and product direction aligned with the dynamic trends facing the media broadcasting landscape,” said Charlie Vogt, Harris’s CEO.
Harris said the tentative agenda, beginning at 2 p.m., includes an address by the CEO, followed by another keynote from the chief technical officer. Then there will be a product keynote, followed by a tour of Madison Square Garden’s facilities and network.
This apparently means sports technology being shown or introduced by Harris, but we have no more details. We asked Jessica Beffa, Harris’s spokeswoman, for more details, but she was not letting go of any secrets.
“Charlie Vogt and his newly assembled management team will detail the company’s vision, strategy and solutions direction along with the dynamic industry trends they address,” Beffa said. “The company will also announce key pillars of its go-forward strategy and will discuss the future of Harris Broadcast in depth.”
Harris Broadcast, she added, will also give attendees a facility tour and demonstration of its technology in action at one of the world’s highest profile venues for live entertainment.
